This is a collection of series of photos took during World War I: Soldiers spent lots of time in the trenches, they waited in a bad environment with extremely intense mental pressure. So many bizarre things happened because of the situation. The main concept of the design for the war exhibition is to show the irrationality and cruelty in a way more relate to narration. Just like when you read the journal of the soldier recorded every detail of the warfare. You have to reconstruct the scene in your mind and to figure out the mood of the author. It’s powerful than just see the pictures. All these photos are important ingredient for me to develop the context of the exhibition, the scene will be the layer behind the narration. The goal is to guide viewers to imagine and to understand the story and subtle emotion changing. Then to think more deeper about “War”.
